The UK Nitrides Consortium (UKNC) exists to give industrial and academic researchers the opportunity to discuss ideas and progress on nitrides in the UK. It also seeks to gain maximum intellectual and commercial return for UK investment in this area by encouraging self-coordination of the UK programmes; exploiting existing skills, expertise and relevant equipment already available; through an agreed strategy for research on nitride materials and devices in the UK.
The UKNC meets biannually with a two day winter conference held in early January and a one day summer meeting.
The next meeting will be the annual two-day winter conference to be held on 7-8th January 2021. Normally, these meetings are held in person (see below for details of past events) but this year, it will run as a virtual conference due to the current pandemic.
Past conference programmes
This conference is the premier event for showcasing your work on III-nitride semiconductors. Open to industry and academia, it provides the opportunity to hear from distinguished plenary speakers, discuss ideas with other delegates and initiate new collaborations.
